5 different christmas wrapping using the same paper

18.12.2015

I love so much the Christmas period, all problems seem smaller and people are more willing to smile. No matter if you celebrate the religious festival or not, this month we all believe in something, and this concentration of energy is transformed into pure magic that spreads everywhere.

This year I did different types of gift packaging, here I propose 5 ideas realized by using the same type of paper. Choose your favorite!

Method

Package nº 1.

Cut the right amount of paper you will need to wrap the gift. On the front, with a small brush, pick up small amounts of tempera painting and brush it snowmen doing 3 rounds (large, medium, small), repeat to make a pattern. Make dry for at least 1 hour and then proceed to wrap the gift, end up making a bow with twine and adding the top right a small bouquet made with a sprig of dried eucalyptus and some other flower or leaf you like, attack it with flowers glue on the package and make it dry.

Package nº 2.

Cut the right amount of paper you will need to wrap the gift. Take the silicone sponge(those used for makeup) and cut triangle (any other shaped triangle stamp it’s ok). In a small bowl, dissolve a small amount of green poster paint in a little water, keep it with the sponge and blot on paper so imprinting the shape of the triangle, just repeat the triangle two more times and get a sapling, repeat to create a pattern on the wrapping paper. Make dry for 1 hour and then proceed to wrap the gift. With twine make a knot on the front, join the ends and bring them through the hole in the middle of the orange slice, take a bow to stop the slice. Apply the flower glue to cinnamon stick and put it on the orange slice, make it dry.

Package nº 3

Pack the gift, create a vertical line with gold string and close it with a bow. Full distribute ribbons across the front of the gift alternating colors. If you’re using old ribbons that have lost the glue, help by double-sided tape to make them stick to the paper.

Package nº 4

Pass the glitter spray on pine cones and make it dry for at least 1 hour. Pack the box with the natural paper, place the doily (I used a rectangular, but you can also choose one round) on the front of the pack and close by several laps with the twine horizontally on the gift. Pass the two branches of pine under the string and if necessary stop them with glue for flowers. Put the flowers glue on the side of the pine cones that do adhere to the package and let it dry.

Package nº 5

Paste with glue flowers berries (choose the ones you like) the small wreath, if you like from a past of glitter spray, otherwise, leave them to their natural color. Close with the twine and attach the little garland by tying the twine with another string.

Blackboard tags

Finally, we insert the tags with best wishes! I thought of a blackboard effect by cutting rectangles from black construction paper, cutting the two corners of one short side of the rectangle, making a small hole with the appropriate tool or a nail, and with writing on it with white uni posca ;)
