This time the Dilycious-meal took the robes of a picnic theme “Japan”. In fact, besides being arrived a very hot spring, here in Rome blossomed the Japanese cherry trees (sakura) situated around the pond of the EUR zone.
Inspired by the ritual for the Hanami (in Japan they make a picnic under the cherry trees), I organized a picnic with original recipes, chitchat, good laughs and a healthy relax in the shade of trees.
At the end, each participant received a packet of organic seeds that will give life to colorful flowers!
Obviously you can get ideas for any picnic you want to prepare, even the Easter Monday, for sure it will be different than usual!
What was the menu? Here it is (and in a few days all the recipes detailed):
Menu
Gyoza (Japanese dumplings) stuffed with vegetables
Kinpira (sauteed vegetables with soy and sesame)
Hanami Dango (tricolor sweets typical for this event)
Almond Pudding with matcha tea
Beverage
Echinacea and roses tea
