Ibiza atmosphere, far from the chaotic Playa d’en Bossa, is about music at sunset eating patatas bravas, hippie markets, coves with transparent water and rocks and greens surrounding, walks through the Sant Josep and Santa Gertrudis white alleys.
My permanence on the island has been so short, but we rent a car so we’ve been able to visit many places.
Among my favorite spots surely Cala Conte. One of the most beautiful cove of Ibiza, from which you can see sunset too. We had lunch at the beautiful Sunset Ashram right above the beach, in the menu a lot of fusion and vegetarian dishes, also sushi with a topping of creamy beet. The restaurant design, in terracotta color, blends with the landscape and doesn’t disturb the cove nature, so cute even at sunset.
Unmissable the aperitif in relax with lounge music chilling on a sun bed eating tapas and drinking a quality cocktail. I’ve found the perfect situation at Experimental Beach by Las Salinas, restaurant with a wonderful clothing store inside. The cocktail presented in glass bottles inserted in a porcelain shell.
Last pill, between Ibiza and Formentera there is a very strong hippie community. In Ibiza, the island’s hippie gather from sunset to midnight in Cala Benirras playing music all together, the atmosphere is magical! Then there are many markets scattered throughout the week, one of the nicest is Las Dalias, off the tourist routes, with many stalls of clothing, hand made accessories etc., a children’s corner and a few food stops.
