Today we see how to prepare an autumn centerpieces perfect for Halloween, starting from the element symbol of this season: my beloved pumpkin.
It takes very few elements to create something nice and original that can amaze guests. In this case I painted pumpkin with a chalk paint with a completely matt effect that I really like, I returned the orange with the leaves and berries of which is filled.
Materials:
♥ 1 pumpkin
♥ knife
♥ spoon
♥ leaves and berries from the season
♥ dried flowers spoon
♥ plastic cylindrical shaped conteiner
♥ Old White Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan
♥ brush
Steps:
- Place the container over the pumpkin and trace the outline with a pen;
- Cut with a knife the “hat” of the pumpkin drawn with pen and remove it;
- With a large spoon, take the pulp and the seeds out and throw away;
- Now let’s paint the pumpkin: just one pass of Chalk Paint with a large brush without adding water, and the result is perfect. Make dry for at least 4 hours;
- Place the plastic container inside the pumpkin and insert the sponge (in case you want to add fresh flowers use a sponge suitable for fresh full of water);
- Create your own composition with autumn leaves and berries giving free rein to the imagination.
