A basic recipe to prepare cakes, but also suitable for savory preparations. In addition it’s a refreshing drink and super nutritious, thanks to the abundance of proteins and vitamins contained in almonds.
Ingredients for 1 liter
100 g of unpeeled organic almonds
1.2 lt water
Proceedings
Put the almonds in a large bowl adding water at room temperature. Leave to soak for at least 30 minutes (even overnight) to make them soften. Deprive the almonds of water and insert them on the bottom of the blender and blend a few seconds without liquid.
Pour gradually water into the blender and continues to blend for a few minutes in order to chop the almonds as finely as possible.
After, filter the almond milk with a strainer and, with the help of a funnel, transfer it in a glass bottle.
If you want to sweeten almond milk you can add directly into the glass rice malt or, at the time of blending, add two dates.
