Falafel burgers in the oven

I really like falafels and during my trip to Israel I have tasted of really good. Today I propose a light version shaped like burgers.

For 12 falafel burger

♥ 400 g of dried chickpeas

♥ 30 g of chickpea flour

♥ 1 onion

♥ 2 cloves garlic

♥ 50 g fresh parsley

♥ 1 teaspoon ground cumin

♥ 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder

♥ 1 teaspoon baking soda

♥ 2 teaspoons salt

♥ 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Method

Put the chickpeas to soak for 12 hours, then drain them.

In blender add the soaked chickpeas, flour, onion, garlic and parsley and blend at top speed. Enter then the obtained mixture into a bowl and add cumin, salt, pepper, oil and baking soda; fray until a homogeneous mixture. Let the mixture stand for 1 hour out of the fridge.

Turn the oven to 220°. Form small falafel burger and arrange them on a baking sheet covered with greaseproof paper greased with oil. Cook 15 minutes on one side and the other 15 minutes, turning.

You can eat them like this or in a sandwich!
